Festival of Joy - Our Special Carnival
Yesterday, we celebrated carnival with our students in our own way. We deliberately named it 'Festival of Joy'.

Yesterday, we celebrated carnival with our students - in our own way. We deliberately named it 'Festival of Joy'.
The children gave thought to who or what they wanted to be - free and in their very own way. Some of the students even crafted their own costumes in art class which lead to many creative and original ideas: A robot, a creative photo collage, a walking garden and many more. It was impressive to see how much imagination and hard work went into every single one of the costumes. Even our teachers got dressed up and made the children laugh again and again. The schoolyard was filled with euphoria, music and collective energy: Everyone was dancing, laughing, sharing meals and celebrating.
At a couple of activity stations, the children got to proof their creativity and courage: \- making music together - with instruments and objects from daily life \- an educational video: Whatever is the carnival? \- a laughing challenge - who is able to hold out the longest? These and many more activities focused on team spirit and fun. Obviousy the festival couldn't miss out on delicious food either!
Lastly, everyone got together to form a long line and danced across the schoolyard. A moment that will surely stay in our memory for a long time - What an unforgettable day, filled with joy, creativity and community. Days like these demonstrate just how important fun, expression and shared experiences are for the growth of our children.
