Mandela Day

Today, on Mandela Day, we celebrate the birthday of an unforgettable symbol of freedom and justice: Nelson Mandela. His legacy lives on and inspires us every single day.

We had the privilege of welcoming Nelson Mandela's great-grandson Dr. Siyabulela Mandela at our school in Northern Iraq. As a commited human rights and peace activist, he motivated our students and gave them hope. Thank You, Dr. Mandela, for your visit and for being a part of our bridge to a better future.
