Our Aspiring Artist Malak

Malak is 11 years old and lives in the nearby UN refugee camp in Khanke together with her siblings and their mother. Ever since she was young, she has had a passion for art and spends every free minute getting her creative ideas on paper. Last week, Malak proudly presented her latest piece of art to her classmates and teachers. The vibrant colours and attention to detail point to her talent and dedication. One thing is certain: Malak has the potencial of becoming a great artist one day.

At our school, Malak shines especially in art class. Not only can she develop her technical art skills there but also discover her creativity freely. Art offers her a valuable change from the daily life at the camp and gives her the chance of expressing her feelings and dreams. Our mission is not only to provide education to the children living in camps but to give them hope and joy. That's why change through creative activities like art is of the utmost importance. It allows the children to process their experiences and discover new possibilities.

We are incredibly proud of Malak and look forward to accompany her growth. Together we can create a future filled with hope and possibilities.
