Anniversary! The Our Bridge School Turns Eight Years Old

Today, we were able to celebrate a very special anniversary: Our school turned eight years old. Eight years filled with learning, hope and future - only made possible through your loyal support.

We celebrated this day together with our students: We organised a joyful school festival with lots of games, laughter, water fun and delicious food. The biggest highlight for the children however was that they all received their very own school bags. Thanks to a generous donation of 2000 USD by the Bundeswehr in Erbil, we were able to provide all 472 children with a new school bag - just in time for the start of the new school year in public school. For many of our children, this is more than a practical item: It is a symbol that they are being seen and for starting the new school year with joy and dignity.

We are grateful for every helping hand and especially for the long-standing support. We would like to use this opportunity to extend our gratitude to all of our supporters: Every friend, donator, partner and dedicated person who has come along on our journey for the past eight years. Without you, this path that we have walked would not have been possible.

Here's to more years of children being able to learn, laugh and look to the future, filled with hope.
