Our Wall of Heroes

A creative highlight at our school! Did you know that our school is run by 30 committed staff members? From teachers to janitors, from bus drivers to gardeners - all of them are heroes in our daily school life. To celebrate them, our children designed a 'Wall of Heroes'. How did they do that? With a big amount of creativity! They...

1. Printed out stencils of heros and coloured them in - matching all of our individual staff members. 2. Glued photos of our staff members to the stencils. 3. Decided on a fitting hero phrase for everyone: Some to make you laugh, some to make you marvel. 4. Proudly hung everything up on our school wall.

The best thing was how much the children enjoyed seeing their teachers and staff members as superheroes. Not only was everyone laughing, but posing diligently: 'What does a bus driver hero look like?' or 'Can my math teacher fly?'

Our wall of heroes reminds us every single day that heroes do not only exist in comics, but in real life as well - here, at our school.
